Using ebrary
ebrary is the library's collection of online, academic monographs (full-length books, books that are part of series or anthologies, etc.). Of course, the huge advantage to these e-books is that they are never "checked out" of the library and you do not have to be physically in the library to view them. Before you can download or print any content from ebrary, you must create an ebrary username and password (different from your Truman username and password). Click here to get to the ebrary sign-in page. Scroll down a bit and you will see the link that reads "Create an Account."
Once you have created an ebrary account, you have a couple of options for downloading content. Click here for the specific options and instructions from the ebrary Support Center. Briefly, you are allowed to print or download 60 pages of a given title. By downloading Adobe Digital Editions on your personal computer (free), you can download an entire book for 14 days.
Keep in mind that you can always browse unlimited content in ebrary without having to login with your username and password. Think of it as "browsing" books on the shelf; you take a look at several, but don't want to check anything out of the library yet.
